It has been made clear by the Jackets that both will not remain on the team long term. Maybe he's back for one more year, although I doubt it.

Was Jody Shelley a fan favorite when they traded him? Hell yes! GM Scott Howson has come in and completely wrecked this organization. Yet he still remains GM and the Jackets still remain a joke.
