Jan Hejda on injured reserve retroactive to October 13, General Manager Scott Howson announced today.
Hejda has recorded one assist, two penalty minutes and a +8 plus/minus rating in five games with the Blue Jackets this season. He was injured in a game against Calgary on October 13. The Prague, Czech Republic native has collected 4-40-44, 121 penalty minutes and a cumulative plus/minus rating of +45 in 207 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets and
Edmonton Oilers. He holds the Blue Jackets single season (+23 in 2008-09) and career (+51) records in plus/minus rating.
