COLUMBUS, OHIO – The
Columbus Blue Jackets today announced that forward
Brandon Dubinsky has been placed on Injured Reserve. Dubinsky, 26, suffered a sprained knee during the Blue Jackets’ February 16 road game against the
Phoenix Coyotes. He will be re-evaluated in one week.
Acquired by Columbus in a trade with the
New York Rangers last summer, Dubinsky has tallied 1-7-8 in 15 appearances this season, placing him third on the team in scoring. The 6-1, 210-pound native of Anchorage, Alaska, has appeared in 408 career NHL games, recording 82-139-221 in addition to a plus/minus rating of +21. He was selected by the Rangers in the second round, 60th overall, of the 2006 NHL Draft.
