COLUMBUS, OHIO - The
Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned forwards
Zenon Konopka and
Curtis Glencross to the
Syracuse Crunch, Columbus' American Hockey League affiliate, club President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced today.
Konopka, 26, registered 20 penalty minutes in six games with Columbus after being acquired in a trade from Anaheim on January 26. He has 13-26-39 with 123 penalty minutes and is +20 in 48 AHL games this season with the Crunch and
Portland Pirates. In 272 career AHL games, he has collected 77-134-211 with 828 penalty minutes and is +54.
Glencross, 24, was scoreless in six games with Columbus since he was recalled from Syracuse on Feb. 22. He made his NHL debut with the
Anaheim Ducks on Jan. 13 vs. Colorado and scored a goal. He has added 12-13-25 with 90 penalty minutes and is +4 in 41 games with the Crunch and
Portland Pirates of the AHL this season. He has recorded 35-27-62 with 244 penalty minutes in 140 career AHL games and 1-0-1 and two penalty minutes in eight career NHL games.
