Interesting deal here - two guys in desperate need of a change in scenery, we won't be able to tell who won this deal until the end of next season.
Torres is a bum who's capable of soooooo much more. He's had two real brutal seasons so far, although injuries obviously played a part this year. But I haven't seen anything close to the Rafi Torres we saw during the '06 run since then.
I think Brule still has the potential to be a star in this league - he was going no where fast in Columbus, and like other Canuck fans, I was hoping to see the Canucks make a major play for him and bring him back to Vancouver.
If I were an Oilers fan, I'd be pretty happy with this deal. Brule may be on the smaller side, but he's got some spunk to him.
