The Chicago Blackhawks have traded forward Peter LeBlanc to the Washington Capitals in exchange for future considerations. In addition, the IceHogs have acquired Mathieu Beaudoin from the Hershey Bears in exchange for future considerations.

Beaudoin, 28, has appeared in 32 games this season with Hershey, tallying 10 points (3G, 7A).

LeBlanc, 24, has recorded 12 points (4G, 8A) in 34 games this season with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
