He has also tallied 125 points (29G, 96A) and 970 penalty minutes in 361 career American Hockey League games and was awarded the Eddie Shore Award in 2007 as the league’s best defenseman. |
Bloodbank's little bro!

I think they take the best enforced team so far.
Bollig, Brookbank, Carcillo, Mayers, sometimes Montador. Pretty stacked lineup. |
Nice signing for the Hawks, adds some good toughness.
|
Nice signing. More grit and toughness to the already tough Hawks. Carcillo, Bollig, Mayers and Brookbank. Not to shabby!
|
this makes me happy.

OH MY GOD!!!! i've been wanting this signing and kept rather quiet about it and it came ****ing true!
bowman, you still suck as a gm, but this is a good move. |

I would have posted sooner, but I had to change my underwear.
I read this post, then re-read it and had an accident in my shorts. :approve: This is a hell of a signing. It really adds a lot to this team and gives us some much needed versatility in filling out a line up. Good addition on D. Good News.!! |

fighting aside in this move, its something that the hawks needed desperately. |

Brookbank plays a solid game, can handle the puck, is tough (hitting, playing the corners and taking the man), and will drop the gloves. Add him to Oduya and Montador (along with Keith and Seabrook), along with a year of seasoning and the Hawks have a lot better defense than they have had in years. |
solid i like this move by the hawks more grit on the back end, the d seems to be a little better balanced now.
|
Good fit for Brookbank and the Hawks. Solid and tough d-man and adds to an already tough lineup.
