Remember that disaster of a contract he used to have?

This one makes more sense

Very Excited ! I think he makes a Perfect Fit on the second line wing. His toughness along with his presence in front of the Net will be something Hawk Fans will love. Keep em Coming Dale !

Barnaby, Lapointe, Bell, Calder, Keith.
Looks like a gritty team. They should be fun to watch, hopefully they show some Blackhawks games over here.

Chicago fans will love Lapointe. He's a real gritty player who stands up for his teammates. He loves to hit too.

Just don't expect as much offensive production out of him as we did.

LaPointe played his best games during the playoffs. I think Chicago got him at a good price and I'm surprised Boston didn't try to match.

Just like Bobby Holik, he should have paid for free considering how much he was overpaid before.

I liked Lapointe on the B's but obviously wasn't worth what he was making. I wish the B's tried to sign him at the price the Hawks are paying him.

It's a pity the B's couldn't keep him at that price.
