Blackhawks Lose Dan Carcillo to Lower Body Injury

Quote:
Q on Carcillo: "Danny's going to miss some time." That's not good. Lower body. Have to look at the replays again.

it happened on the drew doughty hit in the 3rd period...could have been a knee by the way he went down

Yeah, saw the replay after the Leafs game. Looked like a knee. They said he was hoping to show he was more than a scrapper/agitator this year. So much for that. Sucks for the guy though.

Lower body injury=vaginal cramping. Screw this guy anyway. He's been a piece of shit since we've got him.

Bull****, he was playing some good tough hockey before he went down last season.

Carcillo out about a month. Sounds like right knee. No surgery needed. #Blackhawks
From that same link in Chillys first post. It was his left knee last year, by the way.

Saad's taking his spot tonight, it appears.

From what I read and heard about Carcillo during his rehab and the off season, he is very grateful to the Hawks for the opportunity to become more than just a role player. He was working towards taking regular shifts on the third and fourth line. With the additions of Bollig and Brookbank, he didn’t need to play as he did.

Remember, with the Yotes he scored double digits in goals and assists while collecting over 300 PIM. He did the same with the Flyers and collected over 200 PIM. He does have some skills.

Not his words, but from all I put together, he wasn’t going to be a choir boy, but wanted to be a regular hockey player who also agitated and dropped them when needed.

When I saw the hit last night it looked like the right knee got messed up. I don't know.

Too bad for Carcillo. He brought real entertainment value here in Philly and he's a respectable player when he doesn't bring too much entertainment. Wish him the best except against us.

He definitely brings more to his game than just his face as a punching bag. He has decent speed and passing ability, there were a few times last season when he was on a line with Hossa and didn’t look out of place. He’s a guy that can take a regular shift and add some grit to any line and not look like a turd just floating around. I also feel that his nastiness was missed in the playoffs; I hope he comes back soon and stays healthy.

this is **** i said last season and will continue to stand by it as well.

anyone you doesn't think that's he's valuable, is nuts and doesn't see how well he can play on any line....something most pests can't do even if they tried hard.

He played a lot on mike Richards wing in Philly on the first line and sucked major balls
