Blackhawks Assign Koci to Norfolk
General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have assigned David Koci to Norfolk in the AHL.
Koci has appeared in 9 games for the Blackhawks this season and has amassed 86 penalty minutes. He was recalled from Norfolk on March 8th and made his NHL debut on March 10th at Phoenix totaling 42 penalty minutes in his first game. Koci was signed as a free agent by the Blackhawks on July 17, 2006 after having been initially drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
