thats simple fitz will be released and picard will be reassigned to the phantoms leaving 7 dmen which means someone is going

Bitter sweet.

Eager can definitely make the Flyers worth watching, and it's sad to see him go. But the Flyers can't really have an agitator buzzing around without a legit heavy watching their players backs. I expect Downie to fulfill the agitator role next season.

Having Jim Vandermeer back is awesome though. Before the Boogaard fight he went out looking for trouble and played with a nasty edge. Hopefully being back in Philly will help him regain his form.

And it's always nice to get the same, if not more toughness out of a trade.

Yah I presume this mean Picard will be back in the minors. And hopefully hatcher is moved.

I just saw his comment on CSN, he did not look happy very sad sounding and bummed out. They mentioned how he had just bought a condo in downtown right across the hall from a bunch of the other guys. Tough break Ben.
