I guess he got emotional while he was writing his will, "I bleed Ranger blue". C'mon Sean, wouldnt HIV positive red be more like it?

VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED:
I may have by far the worst spelling, grammar, and punctuation ever seen. Lets give Rasner a break here, he does have a disclaimer in his signature As a Ranger fan, we need him back next year. |

Avery should stay a Ranger
I think the move was great for Sean. He really came into his own as a player with the Rangers and is beginning to prove that he can actually be more than just a pest with them. His development will continue if he stays in New York, where I'm not so sure it will with another club. The Rangers also need to consider their options if they don't get Jagr back, or if they do and he goes into another of his famous funks and plays like crap again. They will want the offense that Avery brings them, being the gritty player who can get it done in front of the net.

I honestly don't see him going anywhere else. Only New York is a big enough market to fit his ego and personality in.
The Rangers will have to pay up big time, I think - Avery doesn't seem like the type who will take a "home town discount.' Chances are he'll get whatever he'll ask for - and for the Rangers, he'll be worth every penny.

Just as an interesting sociological experiment, I would like to see him go to the LNAH and see how long he lasts.

Avery needs New York, they only other places he would sign are La or Chicago, or Philly. Sean Avery needs the big lights. on a small market team in a small town he would not have the life style he wants. Could you see him pulling the things he did in say Nashville? No way Sean needs to be on a main stage dating super models living in the big city seen at the best resturants. That is who he wants to be. That is why top 2 are NY and LA. Sean Avery on Broadway or in Hollyweird?
