What a lucky bastard... even if this series goes to game 7, he'll luck out and not have to face off with Boogaard.

I hope he plays next year - we all know a hockey player never forgets.

Kenny J probably won't even be on the team then, and who gives a ****; he punched a red-faced Euro. The only thing that could have made it better is if there was better, or actual footage of it.

And Brad May most likely won't even be with the Ducks next season...

Three games is appropriate, but it might as well be 2. Kenny would fall like a ton of bricks if you tickled him too hard.

I doubt we'll see both Parros and Thornton next game - not with guys like Bobby Ryan being recalled. My suspicion would be he'd play.

BUT I could easily be wrong, and am hoping I am.

there's gotta be some video somewhere, otherwise, how do you assess a suspension with nothing to look at?

I heard the Ducks broadcast showed it after the game, but Center Ice cuts it off the moment the game ends, so all I had was in the video I posted. The league always has more than just the broadcast footage as well.

I tivoed the ducks broadcast...I saved it so I will see if I can find the clip, but it's not out there on youtube so I'd be surprised.

if there is no video then the league has to go completly off of the report turned in by the referee who gave the match penalty out.

I wouldn't be surprised if no video exists. Even the Wild's arena cameras were all probably focused on the main scrum.

Cool.. thanks for the info, guys. I figured there might be some house camera footage or something, but you would assume the media woudl be able to get a hold of it?

I'm debating on going to the game tomorrow night.. My wife went out of town, and I see there are a few single seats left.. but its a 2 hour drive, I''ve been sick for obver a week and just starting to feel better.. and I have a 56" big screen.. so.. tough decision.

regarding May.. I never really liked the guy, and not even now that he's with the ducks, it no different. He has some limited skill, but barely enough to just be able to fill in a line or two, imo. He's always come across as a cheap shot artist to some extent over the years, although, I really don't think he's done much of that the short time he's been with the ducks, at least until last night.

He hasn't gotten in any "real" fights this year, and although he has some medicore skills for his style of player, I wouldn't be upset if he's gone next year. Not to mention, he's almost 35 y.o.

I'd still like to see it. If it was a sucker punch I'd agree with a suspension, but without seeing it it's hard to comment on the appropriate length.

3 games is fine. He either hangs them up after the season or signs elsewhere for 1 more year.
