What about Luke Schenn? He's still unsigned, is he not?

Blake Wheeler is a chump... he thinks he's either worth more money than the Jets will give him or he wants out of Winnipeg... who has 2 thumbs and isn't surprised? ->this guy<- what a waste of talent he was in Boston

Gorges is a tough call, he is very valuable to the team, but what can he be compared to seeing as he is mostly a defensive guy that isn't flashy.

The tough part about Gorges's contract negociation is, 1) what is a very good shut down specialist worth on the market, also factoring in that he doesn't put up many points.. 2) How is Gorges going to play after coming back from getting his knee repaired, will Gorges be the same player he was before the surgery, or will he have a big drop off because of the time away from the game....

In the Gorges arbitration case, I figure if Josh gets anything under 3.1 million a season, the Canadiens as a franchise won the hearing, but if Josh is awarded more than 3.1 a season Josh won the arbitration case....

They should let him walk. He is easily overmatched when the play becomes physical. Yes he is an OK shut down defenceman when paired with Gill. Otherwise he has never brought much to the table.

Anything over 3mil is a joke, although expected with the way money has been thrown around lately.

Josh Georges sucks, its amazing he has considered himself worthy of something more than what is being offered. In my day, there were always terrible d-men like this, they just knew how to fight

They did, his hearing was moved to july 20th as a courtesy by hawks who had no intentions of keeping him.
