Yes I agree with you completely. I have not been able to watch a complete nhl game all year and I have attended the fewest amount of minor league games in recent memory! As a matter of fact I have attended the same amount of LNAH games (8) as I have wolfpack games despite the fact LNAH games are 350 miles away while wolfpack games are 15 miles away.
Like Tasker&Senn said that is about the last league that still plays the game right and the only one your just about gauranteed to be entertained.

Terry O'Reilly got suspended for 8 games in '79 for jumping into the stands and fighting fans and recent offenses no where near as radical receive like penalties, Look how far the NHL has come......

And that right there is why we should put an end to fighting. Cause there is no fan on earth that enjoys a beat down. Did you see the fans? They we all sitting in thier seats very disinterested.

And this fight happened in game 7 of a playoff series. Would there ever be something like this in today's NHL, or even in the future?

Many sports commentators and commentators are being heavily against hockey especially ESPN which is the biggest sports network in the world. They are so against hockey fights but, they praise in baseball throwin one up in in or hittin somone and sending a message. I much rather go toe tto toe with somone then stand 60 ft away from them with a bat getting thrown at. In hockey both fighters are ready for each other, in baseball you arent ready for it. If they bitch about hockey what about head injuries from pitchers beaning players and you cant tell me pedro and clemmens never head hunt. Piazzagot hit by clemmens and got knocked out cold. Piazza didnt harm roger, Fedourk threw punches at Orr. Whats actaully wrong in sports?

The fans were standing, cheering and smiling and from the replays you could see several fans jump up when the KO blow landed. If thats what you think disinterested fans look like you need help but then again I should not expect a senseable reply from an anti fight idiot like yourself. You people cannot come up with even the most remote excuse for why fighting should be banned that makes any sense whatsoever.
You want to see disintinterested fans watch your average nhl game or better yet check out a Wings home playoff game. The lack of crowd noise was so bad you could actually hear the linesmans offsides calls. Now THATS dissinterested!!
