this whole dam season is a joke. I love the teams that play ligit heavies on a nighlty basis. All the other teams cough flyers cough can go fu** themselves. I sometimes really hope that the oppopsing team will come into the center and pushes the philadelphia purse swingeing european hockey playin bitches around. Hitch is a fat fu** who doesn't need any more jelly donuts and bob clarke could go down as one of the stupidest gm's in nhl history.

But instead of bitchin about my team, i'll bitch about the commish. he needs to realize that fans love fighting. its the only time in a game where fans of both teams stand and cheer. Fighting is a major part of hockey and buttcrack the commissioner is just too dam dumb to f'in realize it. There, my rant is over for now.

A FIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greg de Vries vs the Puck.

Hard slaphot...right in his cheek. de Vries goes down, and is bleeding badly !

One punch KO win Puck.

Look for the Thrashers to send out someone after the puck. Maybe Sutton who has a booming shot..

Hossa responds...easily dispatching the puck into the Bruins net.

The way de Vries looked after the puck hit him..reminded me of when Rob Ray busted up Dennis Vial, and he was hunched on the ice..bleeding.

sad attempt at comparing this NHL to that NHL .. i know...

Not to defend the "game" but Exelby crushes 3 Bruins, including Brookbank, Brookbank is out there the entire time, and does NOTHING.

Bettyman had nothing to do with that, Brookbank had every chance in the world to challenge Exelby, and did not.

Also I like Brookbank, but Exelby is crushing people in a 4-1 game with a goalie in Lehtonen who you can almost hear laughing as mere mortals on the B's try and score on him.

No reason there wasn't a fight other than Brookbank didn't make it happen. Disapointed.

No, Rambo you can blame the game. Brookbank would get 17 PM/s and probably be in the coaches doghouse, fined by Bettman, sent down to the minors, start drinking heavily, quit, then have to be a cashier at Walmart. It could have been a career ruining fight you see Rambo.

true..but I still feel he could have done something. 4-1...late in the game..and Exelby is running players. Knocking them flat on their ass..even Brookbank. And Lehtonen proved he is somewhat "human" by allowing the one goal.

I know he would have got PIM package and the doghouse, but how often does he play anyway ?

See what I mean ?

Im not watching the game and I know X has a mean streak, but do you really think he would have taken Brookbank up on the challenge.

as i'm reading this thread i have the Habs vs. Flyers game on and spend more time watching what goes on here then at the game, i hardly even glance when the crappy announcers get excited, which in Gord Miller's case, is very easily nowadays.

Its F'N 9-1 in the Redwings/Coyotes game in the 3rd period (less than 10 minutes).

NO FIGHTS. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!?!?

Usually back in the day, when you tried to embarrass the other team, you paid for it. Talk about pathetic....

Not a doubt in my mind, the visor would have been shed, and he would have fought Brookbank.

Exelby is a heavyweight too.
