Witt elbow on Hagman
I was four rows from the glass for this, pretty sweet haha. I found this video on youtube.

I dont think the intent was to elbow the guy, Id say 2-3 games considering that BamBam just got a fine for a flying elbow. Hes also an Islander and did it against Toronto, Ill guess 8 games. Seemed like he missed the hit and tried to compensate by sticking out the elbow I guess, dopey move, hes going to get the book thrown at him.

I dunno, the only contact made was elbow and head (didn't see the Janssen hit). Wouldn't surprise me to see a lengthy suspension here. Hagman looked like a deer on ice.

i see at least 10 games, the only part of witt's body that hit him was witt's elbow, that's a dirty cheap shot. I'm not saying this cause i hate the islanders but that was a blow to the head the league has been trying to get out of the game. I def could see 10 games if hagman is hurt bad or out for the season. Anyone know what burke had to say about the hit?

I'd say since, the Islanders aren't in the hunt for a playoff spot, I can see the NHL try to set an example. I'd say 10 games minimum.

Id agree with everyone here only part that hit him was his elbow. At least 5 proably 7. Janssens hit was much worse. Similar to Boulderice hit last pre-season when he left his skates with his elbow leading the way.

I'd give him 15-20. He was 100% able to simply not do that, yet he didn't and it resulted in an injury. There is no excuse for that.
