Looking forward to getting my hockey fix this weekend. My team The Mooseheads have been on a long road trip and are finally returning home. I expect close to a full house probably near 9,000 or so. It's the Herds first home game since Oct 28 and it's also DND (military) appreciation night.

Friday: Halifax Mooseheads vs. Rouyn-Noranda Huskies

Sunday: Halifax Mooseheads vs. Val-d'Or Foreurs

Saw them last week at a really tight game with Hull. Was cool! That MacKinnon kid, though...maybe it was the long haul from the games with the Russians, but he didn't look all that great. Quite a few blind passes to no one...like I said, hope he's not the next Jason Spezza for whomever drafts him!

I have three hockey games in the next three days , London Nationals vs the St.Thomas Stars tonight in London , big rivalry their .
The London Knights play back to back home games , on Thursday its the Oshawa Generals in town , on Friday it's the division first place Owen-Sound Attack in town , the Knights are only 3 points behind the Attack , if they win Thursday , Fridays game will be for first place , that one will be a barn burner , then on Sunday it's here in town to watch the home town St.Thomas Stars against the St.Mary's Lincolns .
The Stars have a surprise in store for the Nationals tonight , they picked up a new goaltender from Whitby , (the East division) the kid has been sensational in the two games he has played , going to be fun tonight , both goaltenders playing are named "EDWARDS" !!!!

Huge weekend of puck.

2 Games at Mariucci Arena to see the Rodents take on Bucky the Badger.

AHL game at the X on Sunday.

And high school puck starts up next weekend.

The comical part, the ticket prices (2 tickets for each game) combined for all of these games, won't exceed one ticket for a Wild game.

He's pretty good but his last 4 games or so have probably been his worse stretch of the season, all road games too. Also the game against Gatineau (Hull) he did still manage to get 2 assist, not bad for a off game. Did you notice Jonathan Drouin out there? He is MacKinnon's line mate and they have great chemistry. Drouin should go pretty high in the upcoming draft, he might be having a better season then MacKinnon despite missing 6 games with an injury. Drouin has 29 points in only 14 games.

Last night (Wednesday) went to a game , The Halifax Mooseheads beat Baie-Comeau Drakkar 6-2. After a slow first period highlighted by a fight near the end of the period. Things picked up in the 2nd and 3rd with some goals and nice plays. My team the Mooseheads have now won 11 in a row at home.

Here are the highlights from the game. Big hit and pat of the fight @1:10

Hal Vs Bai Highlights - Halifax Mooseheads vs...

Tomorrow (Friday night) i am going to the battle of Nova Scotia in the QMJHL. Cape Breton vs. Halifax. This one could get rough especially if the score gets lopsided.

Tonight off to watch the London Knights vs the Peterborough Petes at the Budweiser Gardens , they changed the name of the arena this fall from the John Labatt center , most just call it the "BEER CASE" .
The Knights are the hottest team in the league right now , they are going for their tenth straight win tonight , going to enjoy this one ..

Just got back from a friday night game a few hours ago. Halifax beat Cape Breton 4-2. The Mooseheads continue to dominate the Q bring there record to 21-2-0-1 for not only the best record in the Q but also the top record in the Canadian Hockey League. They also have a 12 game home winning streak. The crowds have been pretty electric at the Metro Centre this season too, tonight the attendance was 9,887.

My team won't be back in town til next Friday so now i must suffer through a week of no live Hockey.

Ya , the Mooseheads are rated first overall in the country , they are the team to beat right now .
The London Knights are back in the top ten after putting together an 11 game wining streak , they put the smack-down on the Owen Sound Attack last night with another shutout 3-0 , their second in a row , both goaltenders have a shutout this weekend , the Goaltender for the Attack had put together three impressive shutouts , then along came the Knights , they haven't lost a game to the red hot Attack in 8 games dating back to last season , that game last night was for first overall in the OHL , the win puts the Knights up 3 points on the Attack ....

Will be attending a game here in town tonight , it's the Lambton Shores Predators here to play the home town St.Thomas Stars ..
