Where Ya Headed? Week 1

I'm not sure where to post this, so I figured I'd post it here. On a racing forum, I post this thread asking what race everyone's going to attend for the week. I figured I'd post it on here, but hockey of course. So, what games are everyone going to see this week?

Change of plans for me:

Friday - Pitt vs Robert Morris - ACHA DI

Saturday - Youngstown Phantoms vs Dubuque Fighting Saints - USHL

Sunday - Three Rivers Vengeance vs Michigan Mountain Cats - NA3HL

Fingers crossed...

Hope to make it down to Estero for Everblades v. Solar Bears - ECHL.

Have not been to a game since Everblades won the Turner [I think] Cup last Spring.

Great thread Kid Roberts. I'm interested in seeing where everyone goes to get his hockey fix during the lockout. There are a ton of people on here who attend other leagues already, but I'm most interested in seeing what games those who have given up on financially supporting the NHL like me go to. No plans to go to any Reading Royals games yet, as I'm about to start a new job, but I hope to go to my first one of the season by the end of the month.

I'll be going to some Wheat Kings games and there's a junior A team nearby in it's inaugural season that I'll probably check out.

Tomorrow i am taking the wife out for a date night. Dinner and a hockey game Moncton vs Halifax (QMJHL). This will be my second game this season as i went to the Halifax Mooseheads home opener. Halifax is a great city for junior hockey as the Metro center has a capacity of 10,000 for hockey. The Mooseheads have averaged just over 8,000 people in there 4 homes games so far this season. Almost as much as the Islanders and Coyotes. Anyways good idea for a thread i was wondering the same thing. After tomorrow night my team the Halifax Mooseheads (my avatar) don't have another home game until the 19th which i will probably check out also.

I may check out a Wheeling Nailers game since it's only an hour away. The next closest teams are the Lake Erie Monsters and Erie Otters, 2.5 and 3 hours away, respectively.

Wheeling isn't at home until like the 27th.

Was thinking I might go down to Fort Myers for the Solar Bears-Everblades, but now i'm thinking i might spend that 4 hours in the car fishing instead.

Yeah, fishing sounds like a better idea.

Was hoping to go to the Amerks opener this Friday with my Dad, but plans changed. Good thing I didn't buy tickets already.

I have Bingo, Syracuse and Rochester all within an 1.5 hours of where I live.

Also got word that the owner of my local watering hole is going to hook me up with Cornell tickets throughout the season. Lynah Rink is a great ole hockey barn.

My Sat schedule just opened up completely so I was going to check out this game, then I noticed the prices. $40-$50 bucks for a lower level seat? Holy **** does Bridgeport jack up their prices or what? That is ****in absurd.
