When did tickets for the Winter Classic go on sale?

I read this release saying that if you bought tickets, the proper procedure on how to get a refund.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=632586

I never heard anything in the first place about tickets going on sale to begin with. I planned on going and signed up through mapleleafs.com and nhl.com back when the annoucement was first made. I understand that like in years past, the tickets would be sold through a lottery system, but I never heard of when that lottery was supposed to take place.

Ive heard in years past of when the ticket lotteries happened but I never heard anything about the DET/TOR game.

Did I simply miss it? Were they only talking about a handful of tickets that were sold to XM Subscribers? Im 99% sure I would have heard when tickets for this were going on sale, whether I won through the lottery or not.

After doing some more searching, it looks like I did miss hearing about it. It looks like tickets went on sale around the end of July.

Nevermind.
