More like-What's up with Belak? He hasn't registered a single FM this season.
Brash: Who knows what's going through Torts mind. Maybe the 4th line isn't playing well as expected. Teams don't always divulge every single specific injury either. The "soreness' is possibly a more in depth injury that we realize. Healthy scratches are common for enforcers, as it's also used as a tactic to top 6 forwards if they aren't playing as well as expected. |

Brashear has a wrist injury. From the game I've seen with Brashear, he's actually been playing pretty well. His 4th line was effective against the Devils in the beginning of the year.

It is not from his playing ability because Brashear is a very reliable playing hw who knows his role and plays it like hes been around for 15 years

Not sure, but I dont think he's injured. Whatever the reason, it seems the old group of enforcers has been really disapointing this year. Peters, Brashear, Laraque, Belak, Shelley, etc... I don't expect to much from Brashear this year. He is almost 40.

I don't know guys, maybe it's this?
Donald Brashear: Born January 7, 1972 Apparently people don't understand that in this business when you hit 37 hockey fighting skills tend to deteriorate. It's not so much age as it is the compounding of injuries that a fighter withstands over time. Rather than wonder about what's wrong with him we should be impressed that he's actually still doing what he does. |
