Im surprised to see Savard not invited to the camp. I still think he has a shot to make the team thou.

There was an article in today's Ottawa Sun about Jason Spezza feeling snubbed for not making the list of 46. I know the Sens had a rotten season, but I think he still warranted an invite, especially over that cancer Dany Heatley.

There are some dang good centers on the list.

I dont think you could go wrong with the 3 you choose (Crosby is a guarantee)

I think Savard would flourish though. The say is a stud of a passer, and with the sniper he will have on his wings, and the bigger ice surface, he could be unstoppable.

I would take Getzlaf over Richards.

Yeah, you can't disagree with any of the possible combos.

Here are their point totals from the 2008-2009 season
Crosby: 103 points
Thornton: 86 points
Lecavalier: 67 points
Richards: 80 points
Savard: 88 points

If you ask me; they rank:
1. Crosby
2. Thornton
3. Savard
4. Richards
5. Lecavalier

EDIT: I forgot about Getz. I would slide him in between Savard and Richards.

Yeah, I looked at one of the above posters lists and Getz was listed as a Winger. My revised list:

Crosby
Thornton
Getzlaf
Lecavalier

Savard? I dunno about that. Vinny had a VERY off year and his points there prove it. He admitted to be playing injured the whole season and hopefully he comes back better than ever next year, back to the way he was. I'd take him over Savard and Richards anyday, but his lackluster year might not bode well for him when it comes to making this team.

Canada is blowing it again. Of course we are going to ice a good team no matter what, but a few guys who could be difference-makers should be included...and they won't be.

I could type a lot more but I'm just really dissatisfied with this list. Bad choices.

Coming from the guy who said Nash and St. Louis should be excluded while putting Lucic and Morrow on the team.

As stated, Lucic and Morrow would be 4th line checking players. They would be perfect for that role with Mike Richards.

Nash is good, but overrated. There are a few guys I would put ahead of him to get some goal scoring. As for St. Louis, he isn't even close, dude. Your homerism with the Lightning is the reason that you can't see he shouldn't be on the list, let alone the team.

If anything, Nash is underrated as he plays with no linemates of quality, and he plays physical as well, and is by far better than Lucic and Morrow, close with Richards. St.Louis managed to lead the Lightning in points, not to mention that none of the guys on your line outscored St. Louis. St. Louis also is in the top 10 in takeways.

Ask anybody on this site if they would take Morrow or or Lucic over Nash and St. Louis. You won't find any takers.

You're a moron.
