Sharks Unveil Third Jerseys

SAN JOSE, Calif. – At 8 a.m. today on sjsharks.com, the San Jose Sharks and Seagate®, the world leader in storage solutions, unveiled “BlackArmor,” the Sharks new Reebok third jersey.

The Sharks will wear their “BlackArmor” for the first time tomorrow night, Nov. 22, against the Washington Capitals and will continue to don the sweater for the next three home games. For the remainder of the season, the Sharks will wear their “BlackArmor” for each Thursday home game, marking the return of “Black Thursday” at HP Pavilion. The sweater will be worn for 14 games during the 2008-09 season, including two road games.

i can dig it. love the solid black.

LA unviels their's at game time tomorrow, wont even be wearing them in the warmups. suppose to be "back in black" hope its along these lines.

those are by far the best 3rd jersey so far.. the black is a great look and i like the tweaked logo.. very nice

i especially like the Front Logo,

as Canuckfan said, all teams with animals as there jersey should make em mean and thats just what the sharks did.

These thrid jerseys look really good, they have a winner here. I especially like the shark tail!

These work well enough as third jerseys - logo looks good, the shark looks mean, which is a must, and I like the black armour theme - but, the sweater looks kind of weird without some sort of trim, or band of colour along with bottom - kind of looks like a sleepshirt, or pajama top or something. Its ok though - but a little more colour wouldn't of hurt.

I just think that with these third uni's, teams that have a bit of history should be reaching back to their past - and teal has always been a big part of San Jose's sweaters - but I know, that doesn't fit with the whole "black armour" theme, and it would look out of place here - but overall, a little more colour would have gone a long way, imo.

i definitely don't mind the colors, however, I am not entirely sold on the actual Shark on their logo, the tail throws me off a little bit.
