Which Referees allow the most fights?

Anyone know the names of any Refs that allow more physical play to go on. I'm interested in finding a stat along the lines of average fights per game "so and so" is the referee for. Basically I wanna know who is the Ref youd be most happy to see officiating an NHL game because that means theres a great chance for some scraps.

I would think it'd be hard to be accurate with that sort of thing simply because penalty calls don't always have a lot to do with how many fights there are per game. I can't think of a single referee in the league that I can think of as a "fighting" ref. Considering the linesmen are the ones in charge of getting into and breaking up scrums and get togethers, or stepping in between players that are spending too much time deciding if they want to fight, the referee isn't always a big factor in the equation.

Even a constant barrage of hooking and interference calls won't always impact the fights. It may effect the heavyweights getting into the game, but it doesn't mean the middles and tough d-men who will still get ice time won't get sick of each other and throw down.

Paul Stewart used to like the rough stuff. Of course, he was a goon himself in his playing days. Its a shame he retired. He called a good game too.

Dont know any refs by name but google the word f@ggot. That should yield plenty of names of NHL refs.

Paul Stewart once said that the players must earn the major.

Stewie was always good for entertainment. He'd let the rough stuff go, was always good for calling a penalty shot back when you had to practically maim a guy to get one called, and he was a big fan of the hooking/diving coincidental minors.

Of course there's a reason he was almost never picked to referee in the playoffs.
