Postive news about the coyotes

They beat the Blue Jackets last night. A road victory and nice bounce back after two road losses.

I'm just trying to keep things positive here.

Latest news about them and their sale is Ice holdings Ltd. is aggressively pursuing the Yotes. They state they are looking to keep the team in Glendale for the "long term". Yet they want to hold games in Canada. I find that a conflict of interest with the original stated intent.

good win last night as well, I like to see them do well. They have good players and have acquired some better ones this year.

I would just hate to see them get in the playoffs....................... and have a half empty arena.

I'm not sure why the NHL is so insistant that they stay in AZ. It seems pointless. I mean I feel bad for those fans that have embraced the team 100% but according to the numbers that's seems to be in the 6,000.

Hell, if thats the case they can move them to Milwaukee. They got that on opening night for an AHL team.

OH, and I've watched 4-5 Yotes games this year. AND THEY ARE BORING AS HELL, I'M NOT SURE WHY BUT I JUST WANT TO GO TO SLEEP.

Well it's a lame duck franchise and they did ZERO marketing before the season. So the 6000 per game is a bit misleading. That being said it's a sad hockey market in Glendale.

IF an owner steps forward willing to lose a ton of cash for a while and is committed to the team they can build the fan base over time with a WINNER. It's the only way to make it work.

Remember to keep it positive in here.

If that isn't positive, I don't know what is...

Looks to me that they should have got rid of Drain Gretzky a few years ago and Phoenix might not be in such a dire situation. The new staff there has that team playing well.

gretzky and his cronies set this franchise back for years. Mike Barnett may have been the worst GM of any team ever.

NEW ownership should be allowed to persue a new city if Phoenix continues to fail

They beat the Ducks Saturday night in front 6000 rabid fans. They were out in full force supporting their local team and showing the hockey world they desperately want to keep the team.

Good victory. The winning ways continue. The Yote players are doing everything they can.

Please keep it positive. Otherwise Yote fans get real upset.

It's bad when the OHL has a couple teams that out draw an NHL team , the London Knights draw on average 9,000 fans to every home game , Ottawa 67'S draw as well on some nights even better , the Sudbury Wolves draw close to 6,000 per home game and the Windsor Spitfires are almost the same .
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE ???

When you have Junior "A" teams outdrawing an NHL team you dont have to be a "ROCKET" scientist to know the team doesn't belong out in the desert !!!!!

There were only 8000 fans at the Isles-Sabres game the other night too, but the world series was on and it was halloween on a weekend.

Plus the fact that our Isles have the 11th avg highest ticket price in the league despite finishing dead last, last year.
Go figure?

None-the-less, I do agree. No minor league team and especially a junior team should out draw an NHL team, no excuses. This just speaks volumes of the hockey religion and passion in Canada.

Put the Yotes in Quebec City when they build their new arena , it will be filled every night ...

Wow, Impressive numbers. everyone knows that Amateur hockey is the big draw in ontario, The Leafs averaging 19,252 a game is proof of that.

Is there anything below amateur? If there is it's more where the Leafs are at these days.

I like how we have to keep everything positive in here.... like the yotes fans are gonna take a long walk off a short pier or something...........

be happy you finally have a team that's showing some good signs of doing well this year.

People don't realize how spoiled they are having a professional sports team, until it's gone.
