it doesn't matter who he hits. Kaleta didn't return to the game and is injured.

The guy McDonald hits got up and was fine but yet he got 2 games suspension.

I seriously think boarding is one of the dumbest infractions ever created. Hitting from behind is hitting from behind, but some of these guys are turned halfway around when they get hit. Bullsh!t call. If you dont want to be smashed on the boards, keep your head up.

Another thing that's getting annoying, stupid linesmen being anal on the faceoffs. Rinaldo and Hendricks don't get tossed if he wouldn't have pulled it back. How the refs still give them Gamers for the fight when its obvious the linesmen made a motion, facing AWAY from them that easily could be interpreted as a dropping motion is terrible.

Bill Clement had some words for the officiating this season during the FLyers intermission.

Yes it shouldn't matter, but these officials are just human. Therefore I think in this case they didn't mind Kaleta being run over like that.

Its an accountabilities issue. What does the league do when terrible calls are being made? What do they do if they miss a blatant elbow?

I do not know the process so I won't say nothing is being done.

A large issue is that nothing is relayed to the paying customer, the fans. Fans pay huge amounts of money, time and emotion into the NHL and they should know that things are being done to ensure missed calls, no calls, or terrible calls are being addressed.

I think officiating has gotten progressively worse since the 2nd ref was added.

Sure, the single ref would miss stuff behind the play but the Erskine/Simmonds incident just wreaks. Both those dumb fuq's were positioned to see the elbow and simply didn't call it? WTF??

They should be investigated for a hate crime.

Here we go again! This is just FUKKIN getting to be ridiculous. San Jose's Desjardins levels hawks Mayers with a very clean hit with absolutely no head contact and gets a five minute major(contact to head). Two refs and two linesman and they couldn't get the call right. JUST A JOKE!!!!

We will have reviews next year!

On. Brighter note we got a fight (crappy) out of it. Keith went after desjardins after feelin guilty about the sucker pass he gave makers that caused the big hit!

What a brutal call. Isn't there some sort of foundation for blind zebra's?

Desjardins match penalty has already been rescinded, according to Doug Wilson. #SJSharks

What I don't get is how it's so inconsistent even during the same game. Last two Canes games, they didn't hardly call **** at the beginnings. Then all of a sudden they start calling ever little thing. Drives me nuts and ruins the games.

The rules committee has the officials so confused they call every thing that even looks like it could be an infraction .
Their is no just leting the teams play and settle the game on the ice anymore , they want to have more goal scoring and makeing phantom calls is the way they want to ruin the game .
The interfearence calls this shortened season have been overdone , it is ruining some real good hockey games , just let the teams play , it makes for a more entertaining game ..
