A "hockey consultant" at the gameworn.net forums has posted what is apparently most of the 2008-09 NHL third jerseys. Many are throwbacks.

actually the yotes one looks the best imo. the blues is ok, but i like that the arch is involved in it.

montreal and the isles are absolutely hiddious!!!

Didn't anyone tell the Canadiens that multiple horizontal lines make people look fat? I get bug-eyed just looking at those. I don't care how historical they are. Hopefully they wear the pants and socks with the same stripe pattern just like the ones back in the day too...yeesh!

The Habs jersey is solid red. The one with the stripes is the Leafs.

no its not. look at the color scheme. the leafs 3rd jersey is gonna have the fancy leaf on the chest. like they had a few years ago.

If you go to the link, they have an old time pic from 1912-13. I thought it said Canadiens...

either way...it's fugly

Carolina is finally going with a 3rd jersey.

Does that leave Detroit and the Devils as the only team not to have a 3rd jersey?

Some of these jerseys are laughable btw.

The Bruins jersey kicks ass. Like the Yotes and Pens (of course ). The old school Flyers, Canucks, Oilers and Isles jerseys are cool too.

The Canadiens' striped one makes me friggin dizzy. They'll probably win every game they play in those jerseys because the other team will be blinded and they'll skate right around them. Don't like the Thrashers, Sens, Stars or Canes either. And I'm not sure what the difference is between the Hawks' 3rd jersey and their current one, unless they're switching back to red jerseys at home this season.

And the Sens diagonal script should go from top-bottom not bottom-top.

Carolina looks like Tampa Bay Bucs. Coyotes is the cool one. Montreal gives us yet another reason to make fun of them.
