This has to set, or at least tie the record for most postponements in a season.

Very unfortunate though considering the past day & night, it was inevitable

And the season didn't start until January...

This makes sense. Let's make a big deal Wednesday, showing the world we won't be intimidated by terrorists, but on Friday....What?

there's a big difference between both nights...first and foremost being there was not an all-out manhunt happening with no cops left to fend for the fans in the arena.

So basically the "terrorists won't change what we do" is all a bunch of BS then?

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but it seems like if the world is watching, that's exactly the message they're going to get.

One 19 pothead college kid and his asshole brother can grind the country to a halt.

Maybe I'm still angry, so I'm being biased, I'm not sure. It's possible I'm acting reactionary here, but I still think life has to go in order for people to feel safe again.

life has to go on, yes. BUT not at the possible expense of more. there are no more cops in the area able to be spending 6 hours at the arena tonight when they could be a ****load more useful trying to find this little punk bitch.

wednesday was different because nothing had been let out about the two assclowns as information and such was still being gathered.

So what happens if he's not caught tomorrow? Or Sunday? And so on....

Do they honestly believe he's anywhere near Boston right now?

anything is possible...im sure if the city can guarantee that he's not around the area tomorrow morning, boston and the nhl will let the game go on.

i don't understand why you're questioning this so much...**** happens, things are being done for the welfare of the people of boston. deal with it and move on.

you don't see anyone else crying or complaining about the game being postponed.

This isn't the first time Russians have ruined a hockey game.

I'm crying or complaining. The game being postponed is irrelevant.

What I'm saying is making a spectacle Wednesday and everyone saying "the terrorists won't win because you won't intimidate us into changing our lives" only to do so three days later really isn't sending the best message to other bad guys.

you obviously are young and naive to not have the common sense to understand the situation fully and as to why it's being done in this manner.

No. I understand that because of this guy being on the loose, law enforcement needs to focus its resources on that, not the circus or baseball and hockey games. This I get and understand.

What I'm saying is if the terrorists goal is to disrupt the American way of life, then they've succeeded. What if they don't catch him by 1230 tomorrow? Will the manhunt just stop? Well people all of sudden be safer?

This is what I'm saying. I don't care they cancelled the game.
