unfortunately there is someone (not from here) who has stated that fehr is kicking the nhl's ass and the nhl owners along with buttman are to blame after walking out last week and i have laughed at him for the last 4 days because of it.

At this point, I don't really care.

If the NHL comes back, so be it. If not, whatever. Boxing, football, and other levels of hockey will surely be there to fill the void left by a bunch of millionaires bitching with their billionaire owners.

As far as I'm concerned, the players now have the blame squarely on their shoulders. They had a legit chance to make this season work with a straight 50/50 split and no roll back on their current contracts. Instead, they say no, in an effort to get a bigger piece of a growing pie that may or may not even be there based on growth in the future? Then propose deal after deal after deal that keeps the players making more money than the owners up until a year in the future, and stating that's fair?

**** that garbage. The players can stay in obscurity in Europe for all I care. Let them all stay over there and lets start the league up new next year with new drafted players, AHL guys, guys from Europe, and everything else. **** those greedy, bitchy millionaires.

It's getting frustrating yeah, and I am blaming the players now more than ever. But, it is what it is. Yeah, I think both sides are greedy, but as soon as they start up again I'll be watching the Flyers.
