all except macintyre are ineligible for the ahl, otherwise they're all sitting out until the lockout ends

ah man. This is discouraging. This could mean the end of some of the only true heavies left. Hope not. Fingers crossed. So is what your saying mean that they can head over to Europe if the lockout is season long but there choosing to stick around for a bit to see what takes place?

LNAH would be a good fit, like Brashear in 2004-2005.

to think that you actually believe some team in europe would want one of these guys considering the type of game that most of those countries play shows your lack of knowledge of the sport of hockey.

understand im not trying to be mean, but this is common sense to know that this will never happen for many reasons.

They can always sign with an ECHL team.

Yeah, Boulton did that in 2005, as did Scott Gomez [look at those numbers, how could he not be an enforcer]?

hell the CHL too as one nhl'er has reportedly done, though hasn't been confirmed currently and might be on friday.

though the question is would any of those guys be willing to take bus rides instead of the planes without being "forced" to do it

macintyre can actually sign with wb/scranton as he fits into the rules the ahl imposed on locked out players under nhl contracts...the rest listed don't.
