Wait...so you spend $170 to watch low quality games? Get your sh!t together NHL. I bet they are the only league that doesn't offer high definition broadcasts. No way NFL and MLB are standard def. I know for sure that NBA broadcasts aren't low quality either, just the game itself.

It's not pro-rated. You're paying $50 for about 60% of a season. At the regular price of $170 for a full season, it would cost about $102 for about 48-50 games. You're getting them for half that amount.

I also have Xfinity here in the Detroit area. The CI channels are 769-784, with ch's 769 and 770 as the HD channels. Most of the time, though, there's only one game on in HD, 769. And depending on the feed, the pq is decent for most, but you get some that look like analog telecasts. It would be nice if Comcast/ Xfinity would put more games on in HD, but that's the way ti is for now.

And the only games I get blacked out, are the Red Wing games that are on a CI channel. I usually watch them on Fox Sports Detroit anyway, but that feed and their opponents feed are blacked out on the CI. Other than that, any game that's being telecast is on.

As far as I know, all the NHL teams telecast in HD. But whatever cable company you have, they're only going to show in HD what they're given by InDemand, who pretty much runs the sports subscription services for the cable companies. Directv, I believe, shows quite a few games on CI in HD, but they're in charge of their own telecasts through CI.

Hello guys sorry for this being my first post and all, but i got Game Centre for free. If you have a jailbroken IOS Device all you need to do is download IAP Free from the Cydia store, since the subscription is an "In app purchase" or "IAP" the simple hack was able to get it for free. Center Ice is a ripp off, dont buy it. You can watch all the games with Game Center on your TV (Via Consoles or supported devices) or mobile as you guys already know, and I use "UnlockUS" VPN so the app thinks im in the US and I can watch all the Canadian Teams (I also use it to get US Netflix here in Canada). It is technically illegal but hey, its like downloading music and movies from torrents, its not like a SWAT team is going to come rushing in if they find out. (The most I have gotten is a call from my internet provider asking me to "tone down" my illegal actions LOL)

Edit: IAPFree also works with the NBA and NFL apps, they gain enough money with ads, i didnt even feel bad.

Yet I can watch the game FINE on Xbox360...

Pretty sure MLB and NBA are also primarily in standard def, while NFL Sunday Ticket isn't since DirecTV is the exclusive carrier. You are honestly better off getting GameCenter Live and watching the games through your Xbox 360 in HD (if you have one).

None of the HD feeds are working on DirecTV anyone else having this issue.
