NHL Cancels Regular Season Games Through January 14th
 

NEW YORK -- The National Hockey League announced today the cancellation of the 2012-13 regular-season schedule through January 14. The cancellations are necessary due to the absence of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NHL Players' Association and the NHL.

A total of 625 regular-season games—50.8 percent of the season—were scheduled for October 11 through January 14.

What the hell is the NHL?

Next announcement will be the cancellation of the remaining season. I have a hunch their internal deadline is around January 20.

Who really cares at this point.I thought I would miss the game,but I really don't as much as I thought I would.When they do come back.I'll go back.Especially since I won't have to kick up any cash for tickets next year.So by all means get this over with and cancel the season...

Probably the last cancellation of games before the cancellation of the entire season. Slim chance, but I still have a tiny bit of hope they can reach a deal.

Now that half the season is gone and there are other sports to occupy my time, I cancelled NHL Network. I'll be a fan again when both parties come to their senses, but in the meantime life goes on.

Why would you want a 35 game season at this point though? Just so there is hockey? They should pack it in and figure out all the details for the start of next season to ensure there is no lockout in the foreseeable future instead of stringing its fans along with false hope.

Which is hilarious because an overwhelmingly huge majority of the players probably don't even know what that means. Talk about sheep. Do these f*cking clowns really think their lives are that bad?

When there is a season opener some time next year, if nobody showed up to watch we'd get what we want in a day... Let's unite for one day.
