I've never seen this post before, ****ing great man! Awesome story! BTW You said Bates Battaglia owned a bar right, well his pops was in the Chicago mafia, maybe Bates gots some connections.

I believe that's the case. That place is in a prime location and doesn't do a lot of business (at least compared with other bars in the same area) yet somehow has been open since 2005....

I had forgotten all about this story/novel. Thinking that I'd add to the massive 'thank you' total I clicked on the thanks button only to find out that I did so almost 2 years ago

Ah well, it was a good reminder just why hockey players are some of the most personable athletes to hang out with. MUCH better than some of the prima donnas that we have with our other local teams (different sports).
