Great story. Hockey players are by far the coolest guys. I've talked with Commadore, LaRose, Whitney, etc.. There all great guys. Good luck to the pens against Detroit!

You are a gifted story teller. If that had happened to me it would have been one lame paragraph! Actually, it would never have happened o me because I would have gotten all flustered and just stared at them!
Thanks, Now I officially have a reason to root for the Pens.

I am glad you enjoy them Staal...the Pens as a whole are a great bunch of guys and are incredibly easy to hangout with. A friend of mine got to go to Colby Armstrong's house after meeting him for just a few minutes. Talbot is always making friends he even hands out his phone number to certain people he sees a lot. They all give back to the community and wont ever be to busy to stop and sign an autograph or take a picture. They are phenomenal group. I am glad they took good care of you and vise versa.

Great story.....One time I saw Shawn Antoski in a bar when he was with Milwaukee in IHL. I nodded at him and he returned the gesture but he appeared to be looking for someone and soon left. What memories!

Leave it to the Pens to pick up a dude to add to their sausage fest.

LETS GO PENS, FLYERS SUCK!!!
Um World Series Champs? The most coveted championship in America history, and be serious, you don't expect Pens to win the cup do you? Ever hear the chant "Just like last year!" I think Detroit fans will get you familiar with that. I'll go out on a limb here and Flyers will win a cup before ****sburgh.

I had a run-in with Pat Kane at the Roxy in Vancouver.... it wasn't as glamorous as your story, though (especially since I'm a Canucks fan). Basically the long and short of it was he refused to take a tequila shot with me, and instead sat on a bar stool in the middle of the damn dance floor. So i went around the bar recruiting guys to help me break Kane's legs.... needless to say I got the boot from the bar.
