Rags/Caps and Caps/Bs are similiar and equally exciting for all reasons you mentioned. Plus it has been nothing short of amazing how OV has changed his game during this playoff season. Its been fun to watch how cool Holtby is in all these close games.
Flyers/Pens for obvious reasons.

These are the reasons this has been my favorite series so far as well. Well Pittsburgh/Philly was exciting, Ovechkin is absolutely surprising considering this year he fell pretty far from the "number 1 in the world" argument, and Holtby has been very fun to watch and I love the camera on his mom lol.

Oh Kovalchuk is making an impact? Thanks Captain Obvious. What would we do without your brilliant insight.

For round 1 there were 3 game 7's so that'd be the go to place to look for "best" series of round 1.
I thought BOS/WSH was a bit lackluster at the time because I didn't feel any passion from Boston besides maybe Game 6. They rolled four lines and played with passion last year winning the Cup but the passion wasn;t there this year. So for that reason I never got in to the series. NJD/FLA was a little more exciting for me because I didn't quite know what to expect from either team. FLA looked doomed after Game 1. And then every time NJ looked ready to crumble as the rest of the series went on, they hung in there afterall. Then a double OT game 7? Color me entertained! But NYR/OTT takes the cake for me because I really started to believe that OTT was going to pull it off. A team that nobody would've picked to be in the playoffs almost upsetting the favorite to win it all. Animosity built up (sadly dissipated as well). Lots of storylines in this one and it took 7. Round 1 darkhorse: LAK/VAN was great to watch as a homer and just to see the antics fail. Round 1 worst: PIT/PHI. I do not care. Fights, a million goals, hate. BLAH. I didn't see any good hockey played and was appalled at the defense of both teams. Round 2 is a easy pick for me. Hard to argue a sweep as a good series especially as a fan of the winner but LAK/STL was awesome. Awesome. Rd1 NYR/OTT LAK/VAN NJD/FLA CHI/PHX STL/SJS NSH/DET BOS/WSH PIT/PHI Rd2 LAK/STL - overall winner NJD/PHI NYR/WSH PHX/NSH |

I think the best has yet to come. The Kings-Yotes will proably be the best series yet.
If I had a pick of the games played it would be the Yotes/Blackhawks game. It was the best I've seen since the Caps/Pens series of 09.
