If the Oilers are smart they'll add some more toughness and grit to their roster. Especially if some of their players are going to act like a donkey after scoring goals. That kind of **** isn't going to go over very well and it will eventually come back and bite you in the ass. That is a given.

Needless to say, I have no problem with what Morris did here whatsoever.

Yakupov didn't do anything. People, including the commentators, have been watching too much coach's corner.

Anyway, the problem seemed to be between Morris and Whitney.

The Whitney-Morris think looked like it started in front of the net then Whitney mouthed off to Morris after the goal scored and Morris didn't like it.

We went from Russians not showing any emotion to Russians being overly emotional and people can't handle that. But I do agree that Oilers need an enforcer type to keep their kids from getting their ass handed to them when they act like kids.

I'm writing a research paper for English about excessive celebrations in sports (yes, really) and I don't see anything bad here. Behind the net and him moving his hands at his teammates, what wrong with that?! Other team acts like sore losers wanting redemption too late. I do take issue with going to center ice and hamming it up afterwards.

Everyone out there who is talking about how Morris wanted to get at Yakupov should get tagged for stupidity.

Morris didnt go after Yakupov he went straight after Whitney who said something like Who has the last laugh now to Morris.

Incident had nothing to do with Yakupov's celebration. Besides, how was that any different than other goal celebrations like shooting an arrow or swiping the ice? It looked like Whitney mouthed off to Morris, and ate some fists for his trouble.

Yeah, I don't see a problem with this particular celebration.. All he was doing was asking his teammates to come over and celebrate with him.. big friggin deal.

Heck, if anything, there was a look of confusion on Nail's face because nobody on his team was coming over to celebrate with him! hahahah I guess the scrum took away from his OT winner.

If anything, Phx should be upset at Vermette for taking a dumb penalty in OT to basically lose the game..

I think after Yakupov's first celebration, everything he does after a goal is going to be considered questionable.

Yakupov was cheering and taunting Morris so whitney came in to play hero and realized he'd get killed. Hordichuk better dress next game as there are a few who want Yaks azz.. Knowing Doan and Morris that kids in for it, even if its just a huge hit.
