McFarlane Terry O'Reilly

I was in my local Toys R Us today and wandered over to where the McFarlane figures were kept and saw this, a Terry O'Reilly figure. Hope Todd Mac decides to put out more enforcer figures to go along with the many others he's produced. www.spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=4038

Wouldn't mind seeing them bring out a 2 pack of maybe O'Reilly and Schultz either squaring off or going at it.

I've seen Don Cherry ones, Grant Fuhr ones, and I think Doug Gilmour ones too. The Fuhr one doesn't have him as an Oiler though which is a bit disappointing.

Yeah, I've seen one of Bobby Orr as a Blackhawk. Who wants that?

I collect Vancouver Canuck players from the McFarlane series. He releases a new and different wave of both current hockey players and legends every other month or so. I found a rare Cam Neely in a Canucks sweater a few months ago at a hockey card store.

I'd take it. I've been waiting for him to do a Probert one since I first found these things. I have the Hansen brothers set from Slap Shot. Pretty cool I think.

I was at a flea market in Edmonton and saw a Dave Semenko one, i'm not sure that it was a McFarlane but could someone let me no if he made one??? How many Enforcers has McFarlane made because other than the Semenko one i mentioned above i have not seen any.

The one at my Toys R Us had Fuhr wearing Calgary Flames stuff. I didn't even know that Fuhr had once played for the Flames.

Last year I got onto the McFarlane message boards and threw in the possibility of at least some of the Legendary fighters instead of the 8 variations of Gretzky. Most were with me on the idea, but their reasoning for not was insane. They said that maybe Probert might sell, but guys like Tiger Williams, Dave Brown even Dave Schultz would not be recognizable names across the US and Canada. I countered with the collectors waiting for the 3rd re-sculpted Markus Naslund to come out. In my opinion McFarlane doesn't realize the potential of putting the most popular players in plastic. I'm hoping the O'Reilly figure is a test. I've got mine. Hopefully alot more to come.

Add to the fighter figures that are out there Darcy Hordichuk.
