it doesn't matter if it was lundqvist's best season or not, he had a defense in front of him that blocks shots along with a team that scored decently. quick had no offensive support and tards like jack johnson, drew doughty and alec martinez "playing defense" in front of him. quick is more valuable and should have been nominated along with giroux over stamkos cause without him during their injury-plagued season, i doubt the flyers get to where they are now.

Malkin and Stamkos should both be out because neither played in the playoffs.

As for regular season most valuable player, its Malkin.

Ok

I am going with Lundqvist here.

Stamkos -out dont even know how you name a guy whose team does not make the playoffs...who cares what he did.

Malkin- he is going to get plenty of votes but my thing with him is he scores his point with or without Crosby playing. in 07-08 he scored 106 in 82 while Crosby only played 53 games. And this year he is joined by 4 guys that scored 25 or more goals with Neal netting 40 and Cooke and Sullivan chipping in with 19 and 17 also. That is a lot of help on the ice.

Lundqvist had a career year this year. Even though the Rags play great D he still faces tons of quality shots in a game. They give up arund 28 shots a game the same as they have for the last 4 years so he has really improved considering he played only 62 games and had 39 wins and a 1.97 GAA while leading his team to the East title

Would not be upset if he did not win the Hart as long as the Vezina is his

Malkin still has more points then Giroux combining regular season and playoffs. Even after Giroux put up 13 points in the first round.
