Lady Byng Trophy 2007-08
The Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, formerly known as the Lady Byng Trophy, is presented each year to the National Hockey League "player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability".

Agreed.

A lot of players show good sportsmanship, and I don't see how the league can just come up with 3 players.

St. Louis, Pominville, and Dastyuk have no more sportsmanship than many other several players that the NHL left off this list.

This is just a stupid award.

I'm not voting for any of them.

I'm totally in agreement with those who say this award is a joke. It's just an excuse for the NHL to give out another award at the end of the season to try and spread out the "love."

With that being said, the homer screaming in my ear told me to vote for Pavel Datsyuk.

The Lady Byng at least is properly named. It always goes to the most ladylike player in the league

Can the award be given to the whole Red Wings ladylike team? They are second only to the Los Angeles Queens for the least amount of fights this season. Maybe the NHL could have a special Lady Douche Award for the Red Stains.

They do have an award for the entire Red Wings team, it's called the Stanley Cup. Too bad philly couldn't get past crying crosby and his Pens, it would have been a repeat of the old fashion a.. whuppin from the 1997 finals
