He's 6'2", 205 lbs. That's barely a linebacker in high school.

And no, he doesn't fight. Because he sucks at it. His 1 fight in the NHL resulted in a loss to Cory Sarich.

This is a random topic.

No, I think they've done as well as every other race (relative to their tiny portion of the NHL population) ignoring natural human variability from man to man, and have had some stinkers like Subban like everyone else.

He had a monster playoffs for Nashville a couple years back and then went UFA. I thought he was the kind of player the Flyers could use at the time but I'm now glad Homer didn't go after him. I think he's been strongly influenced by Ovechkin . . . he got his payday and now doesn't care so much any more.

He was good for the Caps in the playoffs last year too. Definitely steps it up in the postseason.

I see him around T.O fairly often in the off season. Really good guy, very humble. Anyone who made the NHL after playing CIS hockey would be

it probably depends on how you define "race" b/c its basically just a made up idea, but i totally disagree. maybe its b/c george laraque and donald brashear were the 2 toughest guys in the league for so long. but even today theres still players like simmonds, stewart bros, emery, big buff, etc. i've always found it funny that black dudes are the toughest players in a sport full of white people.

Brashear was half-white and McCarthy was half-native, which doesn't make them non-black obviously, just interesting trivia. Worrell and Laraque were tough for sure, don't forget Ndur (not of same calibre I know).

Below average until playoff time then he seems to turn into a different player all together.
