What you think really doesn't matter here. He wasn't nominated as well as he shouldn't be. As for me, I put Jon Madden. He seems the most defensively inclined compared to the other options.

Zetterberg? Datsyuk? What the hell? What about Orr, I though he wasn't a defensive liability!

After hearing Rangers fans babble about how amazing Orr is defensively I figured he would be the clear cut winner.

Oh well, I guess John Madden then.

Whatever, I guess I'm the first to say Datsyuk. I truly think he was the best defensive forward in the league this year. His stats speak for themselves.

Dont Datsyuk and Zetterberg play on the same line? So how do you pick one over the other I say both get it. HM Cleary.

Madden is a fine defender, but Datsyuk led the league in takeaways by a large margin while playing against opponents top lines. Madden may win the actual vote because people will be torn between Zetterberg and Datsyuk.

Huge Eastern Conference bias going on here. Granted, Zetterberg is not top three material (top 10, sure), but Pavel Datsyuk runs away with this one. Easy. - "It's like sex with Kobe Bryant. You can kick and scream all you want, but it, uh... it's gonna happen. ..."
