first Gordie Howe hat trick for this season?
George Parros from LA recorded the first, I believe, Gordie Howe hat trick tonight against Dallas. He assisted on the second goal, scored the 7th goal, and fought John Erskine in the 3rd.

Jason Blake recorded an unlikely Gordie Howe HT against Washington on Oct 13. He scored a goal, assisted on another and recorded a fighting major against Ben Clymer.

I thought Lee Goren got one for the Canucks versus Dallas when he scored a goal and fought Phillipe Boucher, but he didn't register an assist in that game

So close.....

Did Blake receive a fighting major for that tussle with Clymer? I've got to check the box score. My friend is telling me he didn't receive a fighting major. I thought he did though.
