Believe I also had no problem with the fight. And I'm staying out of the ridiculous "code" thread. Can't believe people who like hockey fights are bickering over some friggin "code" b/s. The late punches aren't something I like to see..but whatcha gonna do..you swing until the linesmen break you up..that's the code I grew up with.

The thing that pisses me off the most is 3/4's of the Flyers fans on Rinaldo's nuts right now because he won 2 fights convincingly are the same Flyers fans that were calling him a pussy before the season started.

That's the CODE that has been broken.

It's oBviously not all Bruins fans. I find it particularly amusing that someone like Boston Garden is soBBing like a BaBy aBout what Rinaldo did. Yet, he hasn't made one mention aBout Vinny punching TalBot twice on his Back when the fight was clearly over and the linesmen had moved in to Break it up. Furthermore, Patt the Whaler Fan is oBviously looking for reasons to take away from a clear Flyers victory. Rinaldo knocking out CromBeen is not acceptaBle to him, so he does what he whines oBsessively aBout other people doing in Bruins threads: look for any reason(s) to take away from a fighter's victory Because of his team. Rinaldo won, there were no extra punches, and not one person who has an issue with what Rinaldo did has mentioned Vinny.

This is a great example of yesteryear stuff, the Battles of Alberta are legendary and required watching for any fight fan. Edmonton got Dave Brown for a reason!

However, Kyte was throwing punches from his back and Brownie pounded him into hamburger but he also stopped when he could have kept going, he knew Jim had enough, they both stood up, chatted and they agreed to let go of each other. That's respect and a gentleman's finish to a fight. They didn't shake hands or anything but you don't have to, just be respectful.

In the recent Zac Rinaldo/Crombeen tilt, Zac threw a couple of punches to FINISH THE FIGHT, that was it, people have made way too big a deal about this than was needed. Crombeen went down and was done and Zac stopped punching. Got it? It's not real difficult to figure out, there have been much, much worse example such as Lucic hitting Mike Brown while defenseless, that video has been posted also and is a great example of a pissed off player taking his anger out on another. It happens! And it shouldn't be villified.

How many times have you heard of NFL linemen ball grabbing, gouging, spitting, and trying to injure each other in a fumble scrum?? Thing is, you very rarely hear about it because it's just accepted as part of the game even though it's absolutely criminal behavior but if Zac Rinaldo throws some punches in a hockey fight at a time that doesn't suit your taste or the taste of some douche bag sports writer, it blows up into a feeding frenzy. It's ABSURD!!
