The problem with that and the reason it's actually kind of a big deal is that partied out, tired players tend to run out of gas and get knocked out of the conference finals in 5 games, and their GM disapproves of their behavior. Not a great reputation to get when it's perceived you care more about partying than hockey.

If you can't figure out why banging another player's wife is a problem, well, god bless.

upshall was not traded b/c of partying, he was traded so the flyers could keep claude giroux with the big club w/o going over the cap.

just about everything else is true. the young dudes on the team (richards, carter, hartnell, cobur and ex flyers upshall and lupul) all live in a part of the city that is famous for college age bars, and obviously they all go there. richards, carter and andrew alberts were photographed last year at a temple party at a bar that they crashed after a game. ive ran into carter, coburn and emery down the shore like 30 times this year. honestly, i have no problem with young dudes going out and drinking. at the same time if its effecting the team its needs to stop.
