Just let Quebecor Media buy the team and move it out of this place. They've got all the cash available, the bilingual mediatic national networks (TV, Sun Newspapers, cellphones, etc), a sports channel filled with former Nordiques journalists.
If it's impossible to move in the old Colisée that's fine, stay in Phoenix until the new arena is open (september 2015) for the 2015-2016 season (if the lock-out is over). Last edited by fcm; 10-20-2012 at 05:47 PM. |

Novemeber 27 is now the final final final final final final final final final date set to decide the fate of the Yotes.
But rumor has it the new mayor wants to throw a monkey wrench into the whole thing. Can you even beleive that someone would disrupt this smooth process. they had one of the ousted councilwoman on the radio yesterday. She said even without the Yotes the taxpayers would have to pay a management fee of around 15 million a year to manage the rink and that would be even if the yotes were not there. The point is she was trying to make is the Yotes provide a lot of revenue . And the arena bond of 220 million dollars needs to be paid off. |

Oilers to Seattle/Quebec
Yotes 7 years to get deal done/Seattle/Quebec Thrashers to Peg Islanders to Brooklyn Devils defaulting on loans NHL lockout - Another season possibly lost. A team in CBJ of all freaking places. (sorry CBJ fans) Teams forced into sharing profits with teams in red, in FREE MARKET/ CAPITALIST nations. Half the league not even breaking even, 7 teams supporting the league financially. (Yet there is talk of expanding to 32 teams) Not even touching pre lockout days yet. How the hell does Bettman have a job still. How, how, how, how? Last edited by straka91; 11-09-2012 at 05:54 PM. |

It's over !!! the saga has ended!!!
That is until the new counsel comes in and challenges this. If not lets see if Jamieson can close the deal. It's a bit odd he will not reveal the investors. could they be colombian drug guys? who else would be stupid enough to buy this franchise then a bunch of cocaine hyped drug lords? I wrote that amazing insight at the end of November. You guys know where you can get trusted information!!! Last edited by canuck2; 02-01-2013 at 03:26 PM. |

Move the Yotes first. Jamison looks like he's out. However other "local businessmen" are ready to step up according to the Toronto Sun. Right......
