Coyotes sale could be finalized next week
It's very close. Greg Jamison and the Glendale city council are finalizing the agreement.
The city of Glendale will pay the Jamison group 17.5 million dollars a year as a "management fee" to run the arena and mitigate some of the losses. In return Jamison will give the city a 20 year agreement. We've all heard this song and dance before but I've never heard it's this close. I'm not sure how Goldwater will handle the management fee situation considering it's essentially a tax payer's handout. But Glendales hands are tied. Without the coyotes they still pay the 225 million dollar bond on the arena yet have little revenue to offset it. The vulture's realize that. |
a source would be nice. thanks.

I'm guessing radio.
Anyways, do we really need another one of these C2? :D Even if said deal goes through I'm sure we'll be talking about what its going to cost to break the lease within a few years... |

Why need a source? Am I not trustworthy?:D |
is it that hard to actually post the link to it?

Is it that hard to look up the phoenix business journal and see for yourself?:D |
i doubt that...well when most of us post stuff, we post links for it so everyone else doesn't have to do the research for it. it's the nice thing to do...wait...nevermind.

i doubt this happens and phoenix is moved

It would be great to see what Maloney and Tippet could do w/o restriction on spending.
|
It's like the 10th time they must be sold.
|
Rumor is the sale has been approved by the NHL, Glendale and Jemison. Formal announcement set for next week.
|
I'll give them $150 cash and keep them in Phoenix.
