Philly fans need to stop making excuses for Bryz, he sucks. You can all say defense played like trash, but 90% of the goals he allowed are goals, Lundy, Quick, Holtby and Smith are all making. Bryz flat out sucks. He allows to many weak rebounds and puppy shots.

Congrats Devils fan, you guys def deserved this series. However, I never cheer for the east when the Flyers lose. Lets go Kings!

There were several warning signs of this coming way back in the Pens series. It was just all kinda overlooked with how much the Pens out-sucked Philly. They definitely missed Pronger and Meszaros on the back end. Bryz is junk. I think there's a definite lack of discipline on the team, too, that really doesn't work when the other team doesn't bite. Pittsburgh bit, they've been golfing for weeks. New Jersey didn't bite, they're moving on. Congrats to the Devils.

Something I couldn't post earlier today was that there was a lot of fighting and bad blood in the Flyers locker room.

I was told to bet as much as I could on the Devils tonight.

I didn't because I've heard sh1t like that before ang gotten burned but I wish I had because they didn't play well.

It's a shame they are stuck with Bryz because his confidence is shot, stick a fork in him, he's done. Maybe he will do the right thing and retire and give Philly a break. I learned a lot today after I was defending him and I shouldn't have been, or the team but I was dead on about the coach, he has lost control, there is serious dissension in the team and it needs to be overhauled in the offseason.

Lavi should move on because he has not done or said the right things and look how they played! That's coaching.

Hope Clarke makes some changes, it's sorely needed.

Flyers defense is decimated..

Carle forget it, Mesaros nothing (hurt) Coburn & Grossman can stay, Gustafsson too small, not quick enough to command respect or get space carrying the puck, Timonen is old toast. Really need that stud defeseman.

The other thing that bothered me was Lavy behind the bench last night.
he looked like a beaten man from the start of the game & throughout it..
Very bad body language.

And while I'm at it, has there ever been a WORSE #2 overall pick than JVR?
He totally stinks. Flyers love his size, but he does nothing on the ice, so what good is he. Man, if he only could get Tocchett's snarl, but no, he's a modern day wuss.

This is another one I got wrong , voted for the Flyers .

Analysis of this series , the Devils just refused to play into the Flyers hands , they took very few retaliation penalties like the Pens did .
In this one I think it was all coaching and every player on the Devils playing within the system , and the fact the Flyers "D" was just not up to par with all the injuries , not making any excuses for them , the good teams find a way to win no matter how many injuries they have .
BOTTOM LINE !! The Flyers just "QUIT" playing their game !!!!!!

First, congrats to the Devils... outplayed the Flyers except for maybe 2 periods the entire series. Pathetic on the Flyers part.

The game last night could have easily been 5-1 with all the posts the Devils hit.. Bryz is a fkn mess in the nets.

And no excuses for Bryz here.. he was just outright horrible throughout most of the year and continued in the playoffs. What a complete slap in the face to the Flyers fans who had hopes of ending the goaltending woes with this guy and all the Flyers got was the complete opposite!

That horrible "goal" by Clarkson was the nail in the coffin this season with this guy in the nets. What a complete disaster. When the team played decent enough, Bryz was terrible. When Bryz made the saves he should be making, the team couldn't get going.

And screw Lavy too... for messing up the lineup by using line combinations that didn't work in any game this series.... then playing JvR who was just another soft non-factor forward who constantly coughed up the puck game in and game out. Rinaldo should have been in the lineup every game this series... people crying about he "takes bad penalties"... BS... since when taking any penalty a "good" penalty anyway?

Honestly, I'm glad the suffering is over.. this had to be one of most painful Flyers playoff series to watch... ever.
