Props to the underestimated Yotes. They looked good on both ends of the ice tonight.

It was obvious their game plan was to take some of the heat off Smith and bulk up on the offense and the forechecking. Such unselfish play by the Yote forwards, particularly Vrbata on the breakaways.

One of the better games I've seen the Yotes play this post season. Road is still long going into Nashville. Keep er' moving fellas.

That game was more entertaining than I expected. Best game in the second round so far, IMO. Still a far cry from some of the first round games though.

I was at the game and the place was full and electric.

Best game of the playoffs easily for the Yotes. they are working harder and winning the one on one battles for the puck.

Hal Gill is a useless tit that cant move out there. I love seeing him out there.

Mike Smith had one of his easiest games yet.

The Yotes continue to defy the critics.

Yes, he is the one difference between this series & the Wings series. The Yotes are burning him every time he is out there.

Radulov and some others are going to have to get their heads outta their asses for that to happen. I know we are capable of it. There are plenty of guys riding the pine that will give 100% every shift.

Most of the goals weren't his problem. The system has broken down and players have not been remotely close to having sound positioning. It was a clusterfvck out there.

Mostly. Tip in's and vermette's goal which was an empty net essentially from a great pass.
but he is not making the great save either. He's solid but not spectacular by any measure.
When you get ouplayed on the road you want your goalie to stand on his head. Didnt happen yesterday.

So Rinne is only as good as the team D in front of him? Careful what you say about BobNystromOwnsU hero or he'll go into meltdown mode on you.

Well, he sure made plenty of sick saves in the DET series. I guess in that sense he hasn't been good...but the way the team played yesterday it didn't really matter.

As I had hoped for, Jordin Tootoo & Matt Halischuk are the replacements for the Russian pinkos.
