The Blues defense just can't handle the size of the Kings forwards. On the flip side, the Kings defense is handling the Blues forwards easily. The blues need to do something about this, or it could be a quick series.

The Kings are getting every break possible as well as outplaying the Blues.

Hope this gets nasty. The way the Kings are hitting, it could.

These announcers are morons, by the way. Blues are 0 for 5 on the pp and they say "their confidence is coming back", and "they have nothing to lose, I like the way they're playing". Jesus Christ. they're getting their heads handed to them and LA is taking their foot off the gas a little. Any idiot can see that.

Hopefully the refs don't fu(k this game up. It's 5-1, let them play. This can get real nasty in the 3rd.

Penner... Where have you been all year? Penner is playing with an edge.

Had a good feeling about this one. The refs took a strangle hold of course but that was a fun game to watch.

And my goodness was the announcing bad that game. I got nothing against the guys in the booth normally but if you listened to just the audio of them going on about the Blues you'd swear it was 5-2 the other way. Who would've thunk that Hayward would be the best voice of the night. And I HATE him with a passion. How they let him do a Kings game is just silly. But I'll always say it like it is, and was pleasantly surprised to hear him be professional and the best of the three tonight. Hire Bob Miller NBC!

But enough pointless whining about a pointless thing... the game; Second line woke up for the Kings, I mentioned it as a "key to the series" for them. Loved it.

Hope the Blues come out motivated as all hell game 3 Thursday and we get some rough stuff.

Fun night!

Yep. That was pretty annoying.

Fun game to watch. Looking forward to game 3.

Great game by the Kings. They continue to make the Blues play their game and keep them second guessing throughout the game.

Hopefully the rough stuff continues in game 3. Looks like Richards has some unsettled business with Oshie.

Sutter out coaching Hitch?

I mean, obviously 5 goals against is unheard of for Elliot this season but he was hardly to blame. The Blues defense disappeared in front of him. If they get their business together, Elliot is an easy, obvious, great choice in net.

i'm not sold on Elliot, he was OK in Ottawa, bad with Colorado, and was great with the best defensive team in the league. I think a lot of goalie could have done great with that defense. Plus we don't know how fragile Elliot is mentally.

Well all I'm saying is Elliot didn't have a bad game, the defense did. Halak not being an option isn't a real issue in my mind unless Elliot gets hurt. If their defense shows up he will shut it down as well as the best of 'em. He hasn't shown me a single reason to doubt him in any way. The Blues TEAM has. It's a long series, hardly over.

I thought Elliot should've started the playoffs to begin with, and Jackman agreed.
