Good job by the Flyers.

Jagr played well and had some impact but IMO the Pens completely forgot him and his line. I didn't pay attention too much about the line matchups but from what I noticed Jagr played a lot against Crosby's line. Why didn't the Pens play Staal and a shut-down line againt the Flyers first line? How effective will Jagr be if the pace of the game picks up again and he plays against a line that tries to shut them down?

Flyers definitely need Grossmann, Meszaros back on defense, otherwise it will be hard to survive the next rounds. They would be absolute favorites IMO with a Pronger and all other d-men healthy.

Remarkable series by Philly and Pens for these reasons:

1) absolutely unpredictable outcomes of the games, you expected a 3-1 game and got 86-45 instead
2) people were pounding each other with fists
3) this series persuaded last people who respected Crosby that he´s a real jerk
4) this series created even more hate between these two clubs and we will have fights in 12-13 regular season
5) Jagr allready killed his haters with pulling a 54 point season, now he pissed on their graves with 7 points in 6 games, game winning goal in game 2, and moving to 8th spot alltime playoff point totals with automatic chance to get spot No.6 which belongs to Brett Hull

To sum that up, I haven't been that impressed by him.

He didnt stand out this series, but still average over a pt. a game. The guy adds a lot. He is not overly physical but is puck control wears defenses down.

Entertaining series to say the least. Congrats to the Flyers on winning a hard fought series. A lot of players stepped up for them and came up big when required. The Flyers PP was most impressive. Giroux is a leader and will be the next Captain of the Flyers. I think he will be an even better leader then Mike Richards was plus he has more skills and is a better overall player. Bryz played well in the final game when it mattered most but I wouldn't be comfortable with him in nets and he's going to need to find more consistency if the Flyers are going to go all the way. I avoided much of the BS that often gets spilled in these threads as it's just not worth my time and I am too old for that ****. The Pens are probably the most hated team on this site and that's fine, but some of the flaming and bitching that was going on in these threads was just pathetic, especially from fans of teams that are not even in the playoffs. Anyways congrats to the Flyer fans as there are some good ones on this site even thou I hate the Flyers, there are also a few not so good ones but it's like this with any fan base. It's only round one so don't get too cocky or look too far down the road this is the playoffs and anything can happen, just look at the Canucks. Enjoy the victory with some class and grace. Cheers.

I am sure that one goal he scored in a series that featured about 60 of them was him pissing on graves. Jagr couldn't kill a fly and if he did he would still have to squat to piss on it. Jagr´s 7 points in 6 games, game winning goal in game two and moving up in NHL top 10 playoff alltime is a big ammount of salt in the wound for his haters and thats what I was trying to point to.
